2. Description of the Platform
Bound is a social staking network that enables users to interact with permissionless smart contracts to bind tokens to community hubs in order to participate in reward cycles, reputation systems, and social signaling mechanisms. Bound provides:- Discovery and interface tools
- Non-custodial smart contract interactions
- Social and reputation-related features
- Act as a wallet or custodian
- Hold or control user funds
- Issue tokens
- Guarantee rewards, returns, or outcomes
3. Beta Status
The Platform is currently offered in beta. You acknowledge and agree that:- Features, interfaces, mechanics, and parameters may change
- Smart contracts may be upgraded, replaced, or deprecated
- Bugs, errors, or interruptions may occur
- Certain features may be experimental or incomplete
4. Eligibility
You represent and warrant that:- You are legally permitted to use blockchain-based applications
- You are not located in, organized in, or ordinarily resident in a jurisdiction where use of the Platform is prohibited
- Your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations
5. Wallets and User Responsibility
To use the Platform, you must connect a self-custodied blockchain wallet. You are solely responsible for:- The security of your wallet and private keys
- All transactions approved through your wallet
- Verifying contract addresses and transaction details
- Does not store private keys
- Cannot recover lost wallets
- Cannot reverse or cancel transactions
6. Hubs and Third-Party Projects
Hubs on Bound may be created and managed by third parties, including projects and creators (“Hub Owners”). Hub Owners may define certain hub parameters, which may include:- Accepted tokens
- Reward cycles
- Reward structures and perks
- Reputation or access logic
- Certain fee parameters, where permitted by the applicable hub tier and smart contract configuration
- Does not endorse, vet, or guarantee any hub
- Is not responsible for the actions or representations of Hub Owners
- Does not guarantee the legitimacy, quality, or continuity of any hub
7. Binding, Rewards, and Reputation
Binding tokens involves interacting with smart contracts and may require locking or staking tokens for a defined period. You acknowledge that:- Rewards are not guaranteed
- Reward cycles may change, pause, or end
- Reputation, status, or leaderboard placement:
- Has no intrinsic or monetary value
- Is non-transferable
- May be modified, reset, or discontinued
8. Fees
Bound may charge fees, including but not limited to:- Deposit fees
- Performance fees on rewards
- Fees for featured placement or premium services
- Are defined and enforced by smart contracts or platform logic
- May vary by tier or configuration
- Are non-refundable once incurred
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:- Use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent activity
- Create or promote deceptive, misleading, or malicious hubs
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Exploit the Platform in a manner that harms users or the ecosystem
- Restrict access
- Remove or delist hubs
- Limit visibility or features
- Suspend or terminate use of the Platform
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property related to the Platform — including software, interfaces, branding, and design — is owned by or licensed to Bound. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written consent.11. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law:- Bound disclaims all warranties, express or implied
- Bound provides no financial, investment, legal, or tax advice
- Token values may fluctuate or become worthless
- Smart contracts may contain vulnerabilities or fail
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bound shall not be liable for:- Loss of funds or tokens
- Smart contract exploits or failures
- Third-party actions or omissions
- Market volatility or economic losses
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bound and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:- Your use of the Platform
- Your hubs or content
- Your violation of these Terms
14. Modifications to the Terms
Bound may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.15. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. Bound may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Platform. Termination does not affect:- On-chain transactions
- Smart contract state
- Previously incurred fees
