The Hub Manager is the administrative interface used by hub owners to configure reward cycles and manage hub settings. This guide explains what you can do in the Hub Manager and how to use it responsibly.

What the Hub Manager Is

The Hub Manager allows hub operators to:
  • Configure reward cycles
  • Define reward parameters
  • Adjust hub-level settings
  • Manage visibility and presentation
The Hub Manager does not give custody over user funds or override smart contracts.

Accessing the Hub Manager

Only authorized hub owners can access the Hub Manager for a given hub. Access is:
  • Wallet-based
  • Permissioned at the hub level
  • Enforced on-chain or via platform access control

Configuring Reward Cycles

Reward cycles are optional and can be configured at any time.

Creating a Reward Cycle

When creating a cycle, you may define:
  • Cycle duration (1–8 weeks)
  • Reward token(s)
  • Total reward amount
  • Hub Patron share
Once a cycle starts:
  • Parameters cannot be changed
  • Rules are enforced by smart contracts
  • Additional rewards can always be added

Starting and Ending Cycles

  • Cycles begin after clicking Start Epoch
  • Cycles end automatically after their duration
  • Rewards become claimable once a cycle ends
You may choose to:
  • Run one-time cycles
  • Run recurring cycles
  • Pause future cycles

Reward Boost Configuration (Optional)

If enabled for your hub, you may configure NFT-based reward boosts. Boosts:
  • Apply only to future cycles
  • Are constrained by protocol limits
  • Do not affect bound balances or custody

Hub Settings

Depending on tier, hub settings may include:
  • Hub description and metadata
  • Visibility preferences
  • Featured placement status
  • Fee configuration (within allowed ranges)
All changes apply forward only and cannot retroactively affect users.

Best Practices

  • Communicate clearly before starting a cycle
  • Avoid frequent parameter changes
  • Design incentives for long-term alignment
  • Be transparent about fees and expectations
Consistency builds trust.

Important Limitations

As a hub owner, you cannot:
  • Move or withdraw user tokens
  • Modify binding balances
  • Change active cycle parameters (except adding rewards)
  • Guarantee outcomes
Smart contracts enforce these constraints.

In Summary

  • The Hub Manager configures future behavior
  • Active cycles are immutable
  • Fees are constrained by tier
  • Owners control structure — not funds
